Chair Seat Weaving. com,
I just wanted to say thank you .I
ordered a rush weaving kit along with one extra spool of rush to
reweave 2 old chairs I have had for years they came from a doctor's
office where my wife started working 30 years ago from a doctor who
was retiring back then, most likely from the 1930's-40's. He was in
his mid 70's back then ( probably barrister chairs -not
the normal latter back ) I could not seem to find anyone who did
rush around here . I have never done any chair weaving before
but your kit made it very easy !!!! good instructions !!! It took me
about 5 hours for the 2nd chair and about 7 hours for the 1st one
but it turned out really very good -maybe not by professional
standards ( you can tell on the bottom I didn't do a great job but
the top looks really good )the best part is my wife is
very happy with them
Maybe soon I'll try real rush ( probably
not )
